HOW TO GET THERE

CAR

Zermatt is car-free. Access for private traffic is only allowed as far as Täsch (5km before Zermatt). There are several parking garages available.

TRAIN

The most comfortable and environmentally friendly way to get to Zermatt is by train - Zermatt is car-free.

AIRPLANE

The nearest airports are Zurich, Geneva and Basel which are reachable by train.

HELICOPTER TRANSPORT

Air Zermatt  in order to get to Zermatt by air.

TÄSCH - ZERMATT

If you arrive by car, you can park in Täsch and to reach Zermatt with shuttle trains. They take you comfortably to car-free Zermatt in 12 minutes. The shuttles leave every 20 minutes.
