Dear Gran Becca fans: You won't miss any news here in the coming days!

With the start of a new week, the organisers of the Matterhorn Cervino Speed Opening are full of anticipation and hope that the weather will be at its best.

The athletes have arrived in Cervinia to start their preparations for the upcoming race. This week, we will once again be putting together exciting content for you, which you can follow here on an ongoing basis.

The athletes' first training session is scheduled for Wednesday, 15 November. On Thursday, 16 November and Friday, 17 November there will be two more training sessions. There will be updates and summaries after each training session.

On Wednesday, we will gather initial feedback on the "Gran Becca" and talk to race director Rainer Senoner about the challenges of working on the piste. On Thursday, we will be focussing on the voices of the Swiss and Italian women. An interview with former skier and current SRF TV expert Tina Weirather is also planned.

Similar to last week, numerous main and side events will take place in Zermatt and Cervinia. Stay up to date here to make sure you don't miss any of the events. On Friday, the focus will finally shift to the two races of the weekend. We will provide an exciting race preview and look ahead to the fascinating Swiss Parawings show.

On both race days, we will be providing summaries and results, voices with the formative athletes of the individual races and comprehensive reports on the racing action.
